Players, parents, and coaches are expected to uphold Faith, Family, and Fundamentals—showing respect, integrity, and sportsmanship at all times.
We believe every athlete represents the Rain family, both on and off the court.

What is Rain’s purchase policy?
All registrations and payments are processed through our secure online system. A player’s spot is confirmed once payment is received; all programs operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Uniforms and other gear packages are also selected during the team registration process with cost rolled into the payment plan selected.
Teams FAQs
Are your teams coed?
No. We have gender-specific teams—boys or girls—so athletes can compete in an environment tailored to their development.
What age groups can try out?
Boys and girls in grades 1–11 are welcome. Whether new to club basketball or experienced, every athlete is evaluated on effort, coachability, and potential.
When and where are tryouts?
Tryouts are held in early to mid-August. Complete the form above (location, grade, gender) to see available dates and times near you.
What’s included if my athlete makes a team?
All Fall/Winter players receive:
- 2 practices/week focused on skills + team play
- 2 tournaments/month for game-time experience
- Mentorship from elite, USA Basketball Gold-Licensed coaches
- College scouting access via our scholarship partner program
What if my child is unsure or new to competitive teams?
Many of our top players started with raw potential. Our coaches specialize in helping athletes at every level grow in skill, confidence, and love for the game.
When does the season start and end?
The Fall/Winter season runs September–December, with practices starting shortly after tryouts.
How do we accept a team offer?
You’ll receive an official offer email with your practice schedule, team fees, and a link to complete enrollment.

Is the Skills Academy open to all skill levels?

Can I pause, transfer, or cancel participation in Skills Academy?
Yes – please contact the program director in writing and copy admin@rain-basketball.com to process our request. A 30-day notice is required to stop recurring billing for the Skills Academy programs.

How Does the Non-Profit Work?
This allows us to provide scholarships, community outreach, and leadership development that extend beyond the court. All donations directly support our mission to make elite basketball accessible to all families.
