The Best Summer for Your Young Athlete Starts Right Here in Denver
Every fall, some kids walk into tryouts noticeably better than they were in the spring. Better footwork, stronger handle, more confident on defense, sharper decision-making. Coaches notice it immediately. The kids themselves often can’t fully explain it. But their parents can.
They did the work in the summer.
Our Mission
Developing confident athletes and strong leaders through elite basketball training, competitive play, and character-building experiences that prepare them for success on and off the court.
What Five Mornings on the Court Can Actually Do
It sounds like a small thing. Five days. Half days. But when you put a kid from Aurora or Centennial into a structured environment with Gold-licensed coaches, real reps, and daily competition from Monday through Friday, things happen faster than most parents expect.
The fundamentals that take months to ingrain during the school year get compressed. Not because camp is magic, but because focused, repetitive, well-coached training is simply efficient. There are no distractions. There’s no half-effort because a friend is watching. The gym is the gym and the work is the work.
By Friday, something has shifted. It’s visible.
The Kid Who Didn’t Think They Belonged
Every camp week has at least one of them. A kid from Littleton or Englewood who signed up because a friend was going, or because a parent pushed them, or because they were curious but unsure. They show up Monday with their arms crossed a little, not fully in yet.
By Thursday they’re the first one back on defense after giving up a basket. They’re talking to their teammates. They’re asking a coach to run the drill again because they want to get it right.
That shift happens because the environment at Rain Basketball is specifically designed to meet kids where they are and pull something out of them. The coaches know how to do it. They’ve done it with 8,000 athletes since 2010.
“The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and truly care about developing each player’s confidence and teamwork. Highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a serious but supportive basketball environment.”

What Families From Across the Denver Metro Are Building Here
Denver Rain Basketball draws families from Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Westminster, Thornton, Centennial, Littleton, and Englewood. The summer camps at Christ the King are where a lot of those families first find the program.
For some of them it’s one week and a great memory. For a lot of them, it becomes the start of something longer. Skills Academy. Competitive teams. A community their kid is part of through high school.
That’s the upside of putting your kid in a program that actually cares about development over the long haul. The summer is just the beginning.
“Rain doesn’t just build great athletes. They’re helping raise strong, respectful, and responsible young people. My son’s growth on and off the court has been incredible.”
— Danae, Denver Rain Parent
